Need Board Input…
Tami Sims recently sent her membership application and dues to Susan. Then, it seems, she had trouble posting to the members email list and corresponded with Erik quite a few times attempting to resolve the problem. I first learned of the problem when Tami sent a rather “heated” email to Susan and me in which she asked for her dues to be refunded and her membership “withdrawn.” I didn’t receive a copy of Susan’s reply to her, but it seemed to calm Tami down and now she is just asking that we “keep her dues for the betterment of the club” but she still wishes to withdraw.
If there’s any chance that the email problem can be resolved, I think that would be the best thing to do. Then, we could let her decide if she would prefer to remain a member or not. If the email problem cannot be resolved, then I believe we should refund her dues (as she originally requested) with our apologies. I would like to respond to her fairly quickly after finding out what the other board members and Erik have to offer.
