I hope you are enjoying the snow.  My text for the prez message is attached:


Food, Art, Games, and Prizes!

The December meeting is special as we throw a party!  Please bring your 
favorite dish for the potluck (ham provided).  We will play the World Famous 
FISHO (with prizes).   Bring an aquarium themed non-living item worth $15 or 
less to the white elephant gift exchange will go home with something new.  We 
take a break from our small auction so please leave fish, plants, and pets at 
home.

Mark your calendar:  Jack Lawless will share his work with Salmon on January 
8th.  Jack uses the hatching of salmon eggs as an educational tool to 
illustrate the lifecycle of this important resource.  The annual plant auction 
is coming up on Tuesday, February 12th.  Locally grown plants and livestock 
will be auctioned off at exceptional prices.

Membership:  New membership cards are now available at meetings.  Please renew 
on line at GSAS.org with a paypal account or at a meeting.  Membership includes 
our newsletter in electronic or print form and is required for sellers at the 
plant and general auctions.
