Dummy", as I'm FAR from an expert.  I just like to talk...

I know that last year we had a volunteer for Auction Coordinator (the
Hispanic fellow who always comes with his buddy and a bunch of kids, can't
remember his name to save my life...) but he didn't seem to coordinate a lot
last year.  At the big auction, when he finally did arrive, I teased him a
bit about it and he said to me "you can have the job if you want it".  It
might make sense for me to take that over, so that we at least have someone
actively gathering stuff when the time comes.  If not, no big deal, I'm
still happy to call the auctions as long as you'll have me!
