I am glad to hear that your move was a success!

For November I have booked Lawrence Kent.  He is gaining a lot of attention on 
the national club scene as witnessed by his latest article in our newsletter 
and his article in THE cichlid magazine.

Thank you for pointing out that the meeting day is also Veterans Day.  This 
could be a good thing (as it is observed on Monday at the UW so I get a day to 
pack) or a bad thing if attendance is slight.  As my uncle took his life 
outside the VA in protest on that day many years ago, I tend not to celebrate 
much so I am a bad guide.

As for the Adopt-A-Stream presentation, could you please see if Tom is 
available in May?  The board will bump Steve L. of the Wetspot so that we can 
have an outsidey/Pond tank this year.  I look forward to taking Megan to some 
of the Adopt-A-Stream/salmon events this year so May would be timely.  I am 
attempting to book the shrimp guy for March but this spot is available at this 
moment if Tom dislikes May.  We have an offer to pay a speaking fee so we 
should get this in writing as per $ and timing at the next board meeting.  I am 
really looking forward to Tom's talk.
