The key here is that we sent MORE THAN ONE post announcing the event on 
gsas-member, spaced out over the month prior.  I think that helps a *lot* 
to remind people, much more than a single announcement.  I suggest a first 
post ASAP, another one on the 3rd, and another on the 9th or morning of 
the 10th.

I think it also helps to have "related" posts from other folks, i.e., I'll 
do my part by posting a picture of the tank I'm tearing down (and maybe 
the often-self-hyped Anubias rescue tank).
