Since it is a laser printer it should be pretty cheap to recharge the toner cartridge. They sell kits for that, basically you poke a hole in it and pour more toner in. Cost per page should be very low.

Don't know exactly, it uses toner and as far as I know it will last a while. I have been told, that sad as it sounds, nowadays it is cheaper to buy a new printer then to replace the toner. Because the latest model printer is cheaper then the toner for the "old" model.

what does the board think about buying GSAS a printer (as Erik said it's $50 at Frys, +tax ... about $54) ????
