Hi Phil, OK, since Margie isn’t involved, as
the seller how would you suggest it be fairly handled? Technically Mike
bought loach from “The Club”, the other choice would be have a board
member contact Mike and make the decision. If there are any precedents that
older member may have knowledge of maybe they can provide some suggestions From:
gsas-board-bounces@thekrib.com [mailto:gsas-board-bounces@thekrib.com] On Behalf Of Phil Lacefield Jr. >>Just so I have this clear, you auctioned the Clown Loach and Margie
purchased it. The club got 40% and you received 60%. Margie then
sold the loach to Mike as a separate private transaction. Not exactly.
Margie and Mike switched the purchase at the time they checked out, so that it
didn’t ever show up on her ticket, only his. Margie doesn’t
have a stake in this one. Phil From:
Seattle_Aquarist Hi Phil, I agree it is a tough break, I do feel
badly for the guy. Just so I have this clear, you auctioned the Clown
Loach and Margie purchased it. The club got 40% and you received
60%. Margie then sold the loach to Mike as a separate private
transaction. The loach died on the trip home. I think the club is a smaller player in
this than Margie and yourself. I would like to hear Margie and your views
and suggestions for resolving it. I would hope that we would all want to
see this resolved fairly; how would we like to be dealt with if we were Mike? |
