Works for me!

I look forward to sitting in the audience for once.  (or auction as Phil is away)

I'm not sure what you mean by preparing slides.

Jimmy and Susan are both emailing me their images.  I already have Jimmy's.  I
am going to re-number them in order and burn them to a CD.  Then that will go
into the laptop that always seems to be there I'd think.

Would you like me to attach your images to the end of the ones we will be using
for the presentation?

Dear Shango,

I guess I got mixed up on the roles.  Are you preparing the slides for
Jimmy?

What is my action item though?  Do you want me to put the images on the
disc I
am burning?  That might be implicit but I want to be clear.

Dear Shango,

I am refining my overheads of the common shrimp types for the meeting.
I
figure that Jimmy can talk about his favorites or they will be used in
the
Q&A.  I will have them emailed to you before noon tomorrow.

I will also be going straight to the meeting in lieu of dinner as I need
some time to set up the two tanks I am bringing.

Susan,

Thanks for jumping in last minute to help out.  I encourage you to
save
some
time and grab images off the internet instead of shooting them all
yourself.
Besides, with the stuff you are covering about water parameters and
such,
some
images of charts might be helpful.

Please send me your images numbered in order by noon tomorrow so I can
burn
them to the one disc we will all use.

Thanks

Shango

Okay. Since I found a bunch of blue tiger shrimp in my Rainbow tank

Hello Board and Most Importantly, Susan

Cliff called last night with lots of big news about his life.
Most

he
and his wife found out yesterday they are pregnant.  He has bowed
out
from
Tuesday because he will be in legal deposition.

Susan, I know you to be a very solid fish and shrimp keeper.  You
had
voiced some interest in helping share the knowledge you have
accumulated.
Would you be willing to jump back in and cover the section of
information
that Cliff was doing?

He was going to talk about water parameters, feeding and breeding.

·         Each speaker has a 5-10 slide talk to introduce a topic
o   Intro to shrimp (Cliff)
§  Requirements (temp, pH, hardness, min tank size…)
§  Feeding
§  Breeding
o   Setting up a shrimp tank (Shango)
§  Picture of a shrimp tank that shows relevant parts like
substrate,
role of cover, airstone?
-Plants they like
-Healthy and unhealthy behavior signs
-tricks of the trade, etc

o   Common Shrimp types (Jimmy)
-Varieties of common shrimp, where they come from, how the
colors
were
isolated.
-Shrimp you cannot keep together and why
-Which are beginner versus advanced
-Things to look for in advanced shrimp
-The newest breeds, things we are just leaning about
§ these are the shrimp Jimmy brought.

If this is something you are willing to help out with with such
short
notice, please let me know.  When you have gathered your photos,
please
email to me in numbered order for the CD I am putting together for
the
overhead projector.

You do not have to feel any pressure.  While water chemistry is
not a
field I have any experience with, I will bone up and learn by
Tuesday
if I
need to and do Cliff's part myself.  You are such an obvious solid
choice.

Thanks for considering it.

Warmly,

Shango
