Sam is a guy.
I've enclosed a picture of him. It's 10 years ago. Sam used to be a
board member back then, as well as a manufacturer and store rep.
He's also on this list! Sam is also the guy responsible for that
nifty cylindrical tank Kathy and I have in our dining room -- it was
a prototype from a local business Sam represented.
He has contacts with the wholesalers and places our order through
Africansâs Northwest.
Pretty sure that's African Northwest (singlular on African).
Woah, just went confirm their name & boy have I been asleep.
They're in South Park now? I've probably biked right by there
multiple times last year (probably missed them while doing my best
to quickly get through South Park).
I am communicating over email with him and
will send the $ when we know. I have never met him or seen him at
a meeting but he always comes through. As the order is placed
early Feb we can change, but I am breaking the habit of last minute
and failed communication.
That's a wonderful idea Paul.
Guys, I would suggest we don't go crazy with the budget -- maybe
stick to what we did last year. Not to sound too much like Mr.
Grumpy here, but with the plant auction, we have a limited time to
move those lots, and last year we had almost too many lots. And
we've got lots of members growing plants to sell too.
Some items can be sold as fixed-price lots off to the side (wood,
maybe some very basic plants, etc) to help counter the lot explosion..
