For example I like the idea of "Buy It Now"
tables for more generic items (maybe a couple of tables with "$5 and less"
and "$5 - $10"). If we set those tables up away from the auction area the
disturbance to bidding, runners, auctioneer should be minimal.
If we could distribute a price sheet for the fixed price items, that might reduce foot traffic to that area. People would be informed about the items for sale but could also stay in their seats paying attention to the auction--unless there was something they wanted to examine for purchase.
