| I like the idea of a fixed price also, but when do people pay? It would be quite easy for someone to forget to pay during the excitement of the auction and in their plant pile.

If we could distribute a price sheet for the fixed price items, that might reduce foot traffic to that area. People would be informed about the items for sale but could also stay in their seats paying attention to the auction--unless there was something they wanted to examine for purchase.
