So I'm thinking about trying my hand at breeding tetras (my Moenkhausia sanctaefilomenae, known commonly as either Monk or Redeye tetra, are looking fat and sassy these days). Extensive research has turned up some excellent information and suggestions, but I'm at a loss as to the "plastic grate" one should put on the bottom of the tank to prevent the spawners from eating the spawnees. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could use for this purpose? I've looked many places for a suitable plastic grate, but none have yet presented themselves. The closest thing I've found is that plastic tank divider with the little tiny holes, and THAT doesn't look like it'll do... Thanks! - Erika
