I am afraid MJ and I will not be able to attend the picnic this year.  We had 
signed up for providing a dessert and now will not be able to do so.  Just a 
quick heads-up for you.

Hello GSAS Members!

It's hard to believe that the summer is going by so quickly and it will
soon be time for the GSAS Picnic.  A more complete reminder will be
coming in your mail box in the next week, but here are the highlights.

Where?             Paul & Cheryl Winchester's Home
                        10408 Rainier Avenue South
                        Seattle, WA  98178

When?              Saturday, August 9th, 2003 at 1:00pm

At the June membership meeting, we passed around a pot-luck signup
sheet; but, let's face it - not many people know in June what they are
going to be doing in August (and the number of people that signed-up
reflects it.)  In an effort to avoid having our Pot-Luck turn into a
Pot-UN-Lucky, I thought it would be a good idea to offer the chance for
a few more members sign up.

Here's what we have so far.

The club will provide.

*       Hot dogs, Hamburgers, and Bratwursts
*       Cups, Plates, Plastic-ware, and Napkins
*       Pop

Bread - Hot dog buns, Hamburger buns

*       Jeff Stewart
*       Meredith Crichton

Salads

*       Sandy Gibson (Pasta Salad)
*       ??? (Japanese Salad)

Side Dishes

*       Susan Rose (Baked Beans)
*       Sandu Simmion

Chips and Snacks - (None)

Desserts

*       John Bernardo (Cake)
*       Dean Arsenault (Pie)
*       Elisha Rose
*       Merrie Jo Hess
*       Heidi Crane

Other Condiments - (None)

If you would like to sign up, please reply to this email ASAP with what
category and/or what dish you have in mind.
