Here is the final show Schedule for West Coast Weekend, hot off the
presses. As you can see, Ruud Wildekamp From Amsterdam, Holland has
agreed to do two talks for you! At the first, he will be discussing the
Distribution of West African Lampeyes and their place among the rich and
varied Killifish fauna of West Africa. In addition, his second talk will
take us on a trip up the Aksu River in Turkey; from the Mediterranean
Sea to it's headwater at Lake Egirdir. Along the way we will visit the
habitats and assess the challenges facing many rare Aphanius species and
related fishes. (i.e. Pseudophoxinus)

Dave Koran will be giving his talk on Pupfish, with special emphasis on
strategies for Long term captive maintenance.

Tony Terceira will be discussing his ideas on how best to capture our
fish "through the lens". If you are not familiar with Tony's work for
the last couple of decades, you should treat yourself to a copy of his
e-book collaboration with another of our speakers (Charlie Nunziata) on
the subject of Fp. gardneri. It is available now from the
Fishwizards.com and will be on sale at WCW.

For those of you just getting started with Killies, there is no better
teacher than our own Don Greig to get you off on the right foot. Special
follow-on education and "FAQ" help will be available to all beginners
after the show is finished via the Northwest Killies Website and
discussion list.

Brian Watters supports West Coast Weekend once again, this time with his
experiences collecting Nothobranchius fishes and Lampeyes in Eastern and
Southern Africa. His special emphasis will be on the distribution,
sympatry and habitats of the Lampeyed fishes.

Charlie Nunziata's talk will focus on Epiplatys; an overview of the
genus, with a special emphasis on their aquarium care, maintenance and
conservation.

Whew! This is an incredible list of fine speakers, every one of these
talks will be packed full of great stories, information and help. This
will truly be a show about the Seldom Seen, the New and Rare, the Weird
and Wonderful fish of the Killie world!
