Re: Fishing Line-Like Algae

Hmm... amano shrimp would eat it but the gularis would eat the amanos.... you could put the gularis in a separate tank for a little bit and let the amano shrimp do their job, maybe they will leave behind a snack of baby amano shrimp... I am growing the most amazing collection of algaes myself, and amano shrimp are great but apparently a lot of fish will eat them. Spendy little buggers too.

There is the strangest algae growing in my Blue Gularis tank. It is almost
clear in the tank, and looks like fishing line. It does branch out. When
removed, it is slightly green.
