RE: Air pump recommendations

A large Supreme/Whisper like the 1000 would do the trick. Depth is the problem with airpumps. Tetra luft is a good pump but pretty noisy.

Now that the auction is over and I didn't pick up any of the air pumps, I
was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good ones.

My criteria are as follows:

- Needs to be fairly powerful and able to push air through an 1' air curtain
diffuser in a 34" deep tank with an airhose of approx 6 feet long + run
another bubbler or 2.
- Ideally have a rheostat to be able to reduce the flow by actually slowing
down the pump not just by restricting the airflow.
- Very quiet (of course)
- Durable (of course again)

Anyone have any suggestions on model / brand / source?

Thanks in advance.
