Re: Any volunteers?
Oh sure. You can bring it here to Bellevue if you want. I'm moving up North. It
would involved cleaning the tank real good, with ammonia, a degreaser, then
going over the clean excisting seals with the tube of clear silicon. I can't
guarentee the success of the "operation", but I did get my steel framer to stop
leaking. Haven't tried out the other one I got from June and resealed. Now that
the weather is good, I could fill it up on the patio and let you know. I would
be happy to do it for you if you or others don't feel up to the task. I bought
the 100% clear plain silicon, by GE this time from Lowe's hardware. I have an
applicator gun, like for redoing the seals around bathtubs. I'm going to try
that project out as well. I am testing out the seals for toxicity with some
goldfish since the quarentined sick discus died in the tank.
