Good luck!My vals also don't care what substrate they are in. I even have them in a substrate free tank with some rocks holding them down. They wound their way under and around the rocks and just keep on growing... amazingly persistent.

Hello again After being scolded for miss posting, I still have the same questions if anyone can find in their heart to forgive me:( here it is again. Hello allI have a couple questions I hope one or some could answer for me. First, I have a discus that for some reason is racing around the tank like crazy. He is still eating and doesn't have any noticeable spots or the like. The odd thing is I have had two dicsus die within a month of each other and they did the same racing around before they perished, with no noticeable problems before hand. I perform a 50% water change weekly and all other water perimeters are within range. I am on well water so my thought would be something in the system that acures in the summer time. I have had the fish since last fall, with no issues up too last month. Ideas? The second question is a little easier. Has anyone grown Vallisneria in a sand substrate before? How did it due? Any details would be appretiated.Kevin Myers Olympia _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
