I use about 1 tablespoon for 1 gallon of water. When
doing water changes only replace what you took out.
I have clown loaches in my 90 gallon and 125, and use
salt with them. Marine Salt. Have always used salt.
But only the marine salt for about 1 year now. Have
had the clown loaches for about 1 1/2 years. And
haven't seen any problems with them at all.
