Thanks for inviting such an interesting speaker! Although I've done live food for years, there are several critters I haven't tried. Still can't get past the white nematode thing (too much like parasitic worms), but it's great to learn new things. And thanks (I guess) to Dave S. who clued me into a reference I don't have on my shelves yet <G>....a little googling today found me a copy that wasn't TOO pricey. You are right....this book (Encyclopedia of Live Foods - TFH) isn't common (sigh). Betty Goetz (book addict) wild-type honey gourami juvenile is still doing well with 20+ new fry popped into rearing tank for another go at rearing these critters, possible licorice gourami fry (I saw some suspicious wrigglers in that tank...changed from mini BioWheel filter to sponge filter to keep them from being swept around the tank), Amano shrimp female full of eggs (gotta set up a brackish tank, I guess....ummmm...WHERE?!?!?!?)....still no threadfin rainbow fry (sigh) _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
