I think the Dog Heartworm formula has Praziquantel in it. -----Original Message----- From: gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com [mailto:gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com] On Behalf Of Kate Breimayer Sent: Thursday, January 06, 2005 3:05 PM To: Greater Seattle Aquarium Society member chat Subject: Re: [GSAS-Member] Camallanus cotti treatments Interesting use of non fish stuff. I tried using piperazine for dogs and the fish didn't eat the food soaked in it, adding to the tank did nothing. Horse levamisol should work if you can do the math and don't get anything with additives that will mess up the tank. There are reef geeks adding dog heartworm pills to their tanks to get rid of a certain parasite now, if it's safe in a full fledged reef it's gotta be pretty darn safe!
