If there's a way of recycling that much water AND maintaining a happy home, I 
don't know what it is :)  I'll probably do 25% every three days and see what 
happens.

I've been told by a friend who breeds zebra plecos that they're more inclined 
to spawn following a water change that lowers the tank temp by 5 to 7 degrees.  
We shall see.  The gauntlet is down!

Maybe a better filtration system.
30% water changes every other day adds up to be a lot of water.
