If there's a way of recycling that much water AND maintaining a happy
home, I don't know what it is :) I'll probably do 25% every three
days and see what happens.
I've been told by a friend who breeds zebra plecos that they're more
inclined to spawn following a water change that lowers the tank temp
by 5 to 7 degrees. We shall see. The gauntlet is down!

Wow, sounds like a lot of work, but rewarding. Is there any way to
recycle water to avoid the waste of so much heated water?
Maybe a better filtration system.
30% water changes every other day adds up to be a lot of water.

Sounds like they have not been bred in captivity. Nothing like a
challenge to get the blood flowing.
Well, I've *finally* decided what to do with that 70G tank that's
been
sitting empty in my living room since September 25. Yep, three
months! It's not that I'm all that indecisive, but that we moved on
September 23, then came Thanksgiving, then Christmas, then hubby's
hip
replacement surgery. And now...drum roll, please...Fran has decided
to set this tank up for five or six L102 (Snowball) Plecos in an
attempt to breed them. Any and all suggestions, recommendations, and
web sites are appreciated.
