Re: [GSAS-Member] tank needed

Hello Everyone,
Here is a good suggestion to obtaining tanks. List what you are looking for on
Craig's list. Also what you have to sell. I sold 2 aquariums on the list.
They have a section for pets and a section for Wanted items. I have a friend
that is looking for a 75 gallon bare tank and I listed it for him and he has
had several calls. I finally found a decent roommate after looking for a year
and a half. I found him on Craigs list. I have trying to get a nanny job now
for 6 months. When I started looking on Craigs list I got more interviews in
10 days than I got in three months of looking in the paper! And the best thing
is it is FREE. It has really helped me so I just can't say enough about it.
Go to www.craigslist.org and see for yourself. The list operates all over the
world. There is also a free section where people give stuff away. You have to
move on those pretty quickly but you could furnish your whole house with the
stuff that is given away. And a lot of it is still in
good condition. Stop supporting the Northwest Classifieds (Seattle times and
PI use this company for their ads) they are way too expensive and not half as
productive as the list. Be sure to type in .org not .com that is, of course, a
porno site! Susan, I saw you placed an add on the list for donations to the
club of fish items. I think we should do a nice ad before the auction. And up
dated it every day for two weeks before the auction (I can do this if you want)
And I bet when you ask at the auction how many people saw the ad in the paper
versus the ad on Craigs list we will get more hands raised for the list than
the paper. Do you know someone looking for job, housing, equipment,
appliances, furniture or just about anything? Pass the word along about Craigs
list. This is not just some fly by night listing service it is really big and
very well organized. You can even use their anonomise email so you do not have
to put in your email in the ad if you do not want to. Once
again all of it is Free. So check it out. I am very glad that I did!
Sandy

I am looking for an approximately 125 gallon tank for my growing fish.
The ideal tank would be 5 feet wide, although that is not standard.
A bowfront would be nice, but not essential.
This could be cash or partial trade, since I'll have a 55 gallon I will
no longer need.
