That is strange. I live a few blocks from The Fish Store and so I've spent more time there than anywhere else. I also bought my first aquarium from them. I've always heard them explain the nitrogen cycle to new aquarium buyers and have suggested that they bought a couple of inexpensive fish until the aquarium cycles. They even offer to do the water tests for people to let them know when it has cycled. I like that some of the staff will talk to me about products that they don't even sell and would help with things like high wattage compact fluorescent lighting and CO2 injection before they sold the equipment for that stuff. The only other stores that I've been to in this area are Denny's Pet World (I bought my current aquarium from them), Fish Gallery? in Renton, and Little Amazon. Little Amazon seems to have good fish but is really really jumbled and hard to find things in. I haven't bought fish from anyone else. Finally, the Triple Door (club downtown with the huge aquarium) is having a private event on Saturday so they won't be open for lunch. I couldn't tell from this thread if that was part of someone's plans or not. Their aquarium is really impressive though, well worth visiting. It is a great place to see bands too. alex _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
