[GSAS-Member] Thank you everyone for fish store recommendations
Thank you so much! We visited the Fish Gallery in Kent(beautiful displays,
but pretty pricey), then Midway Pets (I loved the round tank, and the prices
were GREAT)! After we went to lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe, and got a table
by one of the aquariums. What amazing aquariums!!! After that we visited A
Place for pets. The owner was SO nice and helpful. I loved his selection
and also his tanks upstairs. I bought some shrimp (for my fish) there and
some outdated magazined (only 25cents each!). After, we headed back
downtown, and went to QT Aquarium on Jackson in the international district
(it's new, and not all the tanks are set up yet, but looked neat). Then the
place that just says "Aquariums and gifts" also on Jackson. They have back
drops/wall paper things (I forget the name) for $2 each ranging from a 10g
size -50g size. After we went to Liems, and my all time favorite place
King's Discus. I didn't buy any fish, but my friend bought some flowerhorn
babies. All in all, it was a good day. King's Discus has always been my
favorite, and I do love Liems, but I think Midway Pets is a close 2nd.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I can't wait to go back.
