Angels Northwest began years ago when my wife brought home a 10 gallon tank and a tinfoil barb against my wishes...of course I started feeding and water changes and the fish grew. Got more tanks got more fish .we got angels that spawned and the rest was natural out of control hobby pattern. I am soliciting personal observations on the subject (which will be credited in the article. Here's and example I received from a member of another list: "Well, the first tip is, when you win a 55 gallon tank in a raffle, be prepared to answer the question, "Now where are you going to put that?" It also helps to surround yourself with fish head friends who are even less moderate than you are. When she brought our family van to the cichlid club auction to pick up the 55 gallon, my sweet wife made the mistake of asking a fellow club member, "Do you know how many aquariums we already have?" My friend didn't miss a beat and said, "I've got 42." I only have 12."
