Re: [GSAS-Member] Some fish available
My electrician had two gauss meters, one that measured high levels of
Electormagnetic Frequency Radiation, and one for low levels. He used
them to measure EMF radiation in our home. When it was near the
refrigerator compressor, or the microwave (on), it was very high. Our
electric heaters with fans were also high. He also found where there
was faulty wiring, because the radiation was very high. He showed me
that fluorescent lights, especially near one end (either the anode or
cathode) were VERY high. This included compact fluorescents. He
recommended against using them where people get very close to them.
Tungsten lights had NO measurable electromagnetic field. My electrician
also said that Seattle City Light inspectors have gauss meters, and
they will do an EMF audit of your house.
If you'd like to borrow a gauss meter, one of my patients has one. If
you'd return it the same day, you can borrow it.
Well, that's where I'm coming from. I'm going to try to phase out
fluorescent lights where people (and fish) are closest to them,
especially for long periods of time. I'm also NOT setting up a wireless
network in my home and clinic. I do have some information on the
possible negative health effects from cellular communications type of
radiation.

John, I'm curious about the radiation that you measured. What portion
of the
E-M spectrum was it and what was the data ?

I'm sick of fluorescent
bulbs. I measured the radiation they put out, and it is quite high.
