Thanks for the links! After reading the biographical info, I think the comment Dr. Kallman made last night re: sex reversal in fish being explained by sloppy science referred to livebearer sex reversal. I learned a new word refreshing my mind about this topic: gonochoristic...that's what he said fish really are, i.e. fish are born one sex and stay one sex. However, I don't think there is any debate about the existance of sex change/reversal in numerous saltwater species, especially reef species (shrug). I'm not as familiar with freshwater species.
