the ph is perfect, no nitrites...i monitor all and more each week....i have lowered my lighting to less wattsI had some brush algae in my 29g community tank at work. But when I lowered the pH to around 6.8, I eliminated the algae. The pH was over 7.0. I used Keta pellets in a filter bag to lower the pH. So, when you say the pH is 'perfect', I'm wondering what your target pH is and whether that might be a variable to consider.
