RE: [GSAS-Member] West Coast Weekend

The fish show includes judging for best fish, 1st, 2d, 3rd by category, best 
in show, ... Not sure who runs the judging at the show (and I'm not 
volunteering, I'm usually the auctioneer at the end.)

It's quite a good show, second only imnsho to the AKA national convention 
which is held annually on Memorial Day weekend. This year its in Tampa, 
Florida. Info can be found at www.aka.org

There is also a fish sale, not sure how they're doing it this year, last 
year there was a 'silent auction' for fish held at the hotel. I don't 
remember if they had a separate sale room, too. There are usually tons of 
fish available via auctions and people simply selling fish. Plus its an 
excellent opportunity to see a wide variety of killies in show condition.
