Re: [GSAS-Member] any tips for breeding corys?

Thanks Steev, I wasn't able to get them moved to their own tank last night. I had a frog escape and spent much of the night trying to find him. :( I haven't found him, but the cats keep acting strange. Hopefully I'll get him before they do. I kept the heat on so he doesn't get cold, and put out short containers of water. My plan is to catch them tonight and move them. Thanks! I love the corys that you bred. They are one of the highlights of my planted tank downstairs. :)

It is difficult to get corys to spawn when you want them too, but if you give them their own tank and take good care of them they often decide to do it on their own. I've found that they usually spawn after a water change and maybe during stormy weather (like right now) if they've been getting lots to eat.
