Holly,
Eco-complete is a mix of smaller and larger "grains" of sand. I've never
seen the tahitian moon sand you're talking about however Eco complete is
more of a sand than a soil look to it.
I hope that helps! I know that Denny's carries it if you'd like to see
what it looks like in the bag.
