[GSAS-Member] What a surprise!

I have been so busy lately, I think I haven't looked too closely at my tanks. I'd been doing water changes and all but had not taken the time to observe my fish like I normally do. This evening I got home from work, and noticed one of my angel fish acting VERY territorial and protecting a fake plant with another. I looked a little closer and saw babies! This is my 100g tank that I have used as an "extra" fish tank, it has about 18 angels in it, waiting to pair off, along with some corys, tetras, plecos, a FW lobster, and a few young discus. Without thinking, I scooped up as many of the adult angels I could, and put them in another tank to get them out of the way. I left the discus in there because they didn't seem to be going after the babies. The babies are swimming, and there appear to be about 30. How the heck did I miss this? The pair is a very strange mix. One is a beautiful perfect koi, with lots of bright orange, the other is black. I am very curious to see what the babies will be like, if they make it. I am so mad at myself. I am usually so good at finding the pairs before they spawn and putting them in their own tank. Should I leave the discus in with them, or should I try and catch them and put them in their own tank? Thanks!
Monica
