I'm exhausted today, but had a great time yesterday and am very happy with the 
results. Perhaps we can get a readout from the treasurer how well this auction 
did for the club vs. the previous ones, that would be interesting.
 
I was very happy to see that *all* that stuff went. When it started I really 
thought we'd be giving things away at the end, but we weren't. So many fish 
tanks sold for pretty good money for used equipment and people got good deals, 
too. Erik, how many items actually got sold? 
 
I'd certainly support having more than one general auction or combining the 
plant and general into an all-day event or two-day event. Combining might be 
best, it'd raise the quality of the average lot. One possibility is a speaker 
in the a.m. and an auction in the afternoon (10a.m. speaker, auction from 
noon->whenever.) We might need a bigger venue for that, though.
