Hi Larry:
Yes, that's a good idea too. Those bumble bee shrimp can be ordered from
Arizona Gardens, but it costs $20 for the shipping. They have lots of nice
plants and other shrimp as well.

Hi All,
Great job at the auction yesterday! Eric was right, the new way is
much smoother and faster. It was nice to have a couple experienced
auctioneers who made it much more fun!
I agree with Hiro, even though I know it is a huge amount of work, it
would be nice to have something else in the fall. Maybe since we have
a "plant auction" in February we could do a "fish auction" sometime
like November.
Or, another idea would be to organize a group order for club members
from a resource so we could benefit from several people splitting
shipping. Kind of like the ancistrus order. I would love to get some
nice apistogrammas but do not want to spend a bunch of money on
shipping for a couple of pairs. I would also like to order some
African cichlids along the same lines.
Again, just some ideas.

I think it was great yesterday's auction. Thanks to all the board
members and some funny auctioneers.
I can't compare the weekend auction and regular Tuesday night
auction since I haven't attend the auction for last 2 years. But I
think it is easier for many people when it start at daytime instead of
night. I recall it lasted until late when the auction was held at
night. Especially considering the some cleaning up it require after
the big gathering.
I know it takes lots of effort from the auction organizer but I
wish there are 2 general auction a year.(beside the plant auction,
they are held little too close) Perhaps sometime earlier in Fall? I
think it would increase the income for the club.
Anyway, like I said it is my wish and it maybe not realistic. And
I know it takes time and effort from the board and organizer but I'm
sure many people would like to see if it is possible.
