I don't know how you planted but I heard you are suppose to keep the "banana
part" of root tube above the substrate. It usually have thinner more root
looking white root come out near the tip of banana which should go under the
gravel/sand/mud whatever.
Also it likes higher light and warmer temp as I hear they are either native
of Florida or just grow crazy like weed at Florida.

looks very healthy as far and leaves and roots go but the banana looking
parts have all rotten off and the plecos and shrimp love to eat it. The
rest of the plant looks very intact though.
Any thoughts?
