Shango, I am not sure that is necessary. If your plants heavily populate your tank to where little light reaches the bottom and there is room for the loaches to move around under them, the light above is pretty well filtered out by the time it hits bottom I would imagine. That being said, my 100 gallon tank is populated with only two or three types of anubias and has one 40 Watt flourescent bulb burning above it. It is a rather dark tank.
