It was an eco-trip with Amazon Nature tours.

It was a vacation, but you learn the whole time about the river and the 
jungle through lectures, boating, hikes, and other hands on stuff.  If 
anyone ever has the opportunity to take this trip, it is wonderful!  You can 
also charter the boat and customize the trip more.  Of course I asked if 
anyone had ever chartered the boat to search for fish.  They said no.  From 
what I understand it's really difficult to be able to collect fish from 
Brazil and bring them back.  :(  I would have brought fish for everyone had 
I been able to!
