Lately I've tried:
grindel worms-- which I managed to kill off in record time, apparently
wingless fruit flies-- which are doing great, but my fish don't seem to
want to eat
redworms-- super easy, and readily accepted by the fish, but time
consuming to clean and sort, and usually too big for my fish
daphnia-- also killed off in record time
phantom midges-- much hardier than daphnia, but now that the daphnia are
gone I'm not sure what these guys will eat...
Any other favorites? I like the idea of culturing my own food more than
making regular runs to the store for live food...
Thanks!
