Re: [GSAS-Member] Singular Loach that Eats Snails

Shango,

I've got a pea puffer here that I use to de-snail outgoing plants for
people that don't enjoy them as much as I do. If you'd like to borrow him
to clean out your tanks, I don't think he'd mind a field trip.

I'm not positve he'll eat the small flat snails (although, there are
definitely none in the tank he's in), I'll try a test tonight. He stalks
pond, ramshorn, and trumpet snails relentlessly, and has completely
eliminated the snail population within a few days for each tank I've moved
him to.

I keep him with Guppies and Mollies with no problems, but I wouldn't
recommend putting him in with anything you'd be overly worried about
damaging...he used to harass another male Pea Puffer I had quite a
bit...and they can definitely take chunks out of things (as they can chip
through snail shells...).
