I just happen to catch this. Just my experiences but here goes: I use the Syringe that comes with some of the Flourish bottles and extract from the Excel bottle and Shoot direct into particular areas ... Periodically, If I have some algae issues BBA in particular which is not easy to get rid of ... But injecting direct onto the source really helps in general.. Of course keeping ferts in check does help and WC's as well. 50% once per wk at least.. More so on High Light setups.. Note: Crustations ( Shrimp) do not take too kindly if OD' n on the Excel.
