I second Shango's suggestion; ferts and water chemistry can make or break
fish breeding and planted tank efforts. In fact, a series of "back to
basics" covering other aspects including lighting, filtration, substrates,
would be a good learning tool for members either new to the hobby or older
hobbyist's that are returning.
