I saw a post from Tom Barr recommending spraying a 50/50 mixture of excel and
water directly on the algae affected plants while they are exposed during a
water change. I haven't tried it yet, but am thinking about it for a 10 gal
that is having a BBA outbreak. The Amazon swords, which are otherwise doing
well, don't look so hot with the black fuzz encrusting the leaf edges. :(
