[GSAS-Member] Question about setting up a new tank

Hi All,
 
are you having fun in the snow?? 
 
I got a new 75 g tank for x-mas (a little early) and am contemplating how to 
set it up filter-wise. So far I have only dealt with HOB filters and know very 
little about other filters, SO I am hoping for some opinions ... 
 
-how is your tank set up
-pros and cons of your set-up 
-if you are using a HOB filter, how do you make it fit, since the lip is to 
wide on the new tank (the tank is an Aqueon glass tank)
