Pacus get to about 36" long and 36" tall.  They're monstrous fish and  
totally unfit for the home aquarium, but big box stores like Petsmart  
and Petco sell them because they're cute when they're small and most  
people buying fish from those stores don't keep them alive long enough  
for them to become a problem. I don't believe the Seattle aquarium has  
a tropical freshwater section, though Point Defiance has a jungle pool  
IIRC.

I know it sounds terrible, but your best bet might be having a tasty  
meal and playing tapps.
