  I just an report to the board of the auction stats, and also wanted to 
  share with the rest of the membership that... Tonight's plant auction was 
  a RECORD-BREAKER for the 10 years I've been keeping computer tabs (and 
  most likely the previous 10 before it).  Record number of items (~400), 
  record number of bidders (56), record $ in bids, and record $ in splits 
  paid to members.

  I don't think I've ever seen Standing Room Only at a plant auction.

  Thanks to everyone who promoted the meeting, helped tonight, and of course 
  to everyone who bought plants!

  Now I'm off to ponder which tank I'm going to put my new Cryptocoryne 
  moehlmanii and ciliata specimens tomorrow.  Muhahaha!
