Re: [GSAS-Member] Where to buy rocks locally?

>Hi Erik. When I set up that philanthropy project tank at Mount St.
Vincent nursing home in West Seattle several years ago I got the rocks
for it at a stoneyard in Georgetown, Lakeview Stone I think. They had a
nice selection at reasonable prices. I bought some of their tumbled
sandstone, which was available in several colors and looked natural.
They used to have another yard near Husky Stadium (hence the name
Lakeview) but that may not be there anymore.
Got a yardful of lumpy gray quarry rock up here if you would be
interested. Cantaloupe size and smaller. It's ugly for landscaping but
stacked up it would make good cichlid habitat, and it's free!

I used to go to Alpine Rockeries in Woodinville for all my bulk purchases
