Re: [GSAS-Member] Floating Plants

If you're ever looking for a smallish day-trip, and good selection, I'd
say try Redmond/Monroe aquatic Nurseries. (www.waponds.com) In my
experience, great staff and awesome reference ponds.

I have some Nymphoides if you wanted to try a new floater (2 kinds, both
of which work best in larger tanks since they try to steal a lot of
surface area, but they have really pretty flowers). If your lighting is
set up to accommodate emersed growth, it can also be fun to let mint grow
on the side of the tank (although it can get fairly unruly-- I have extra
of this too, if you're interested)...not really a floater but similar
effect. And of course, there's always plenty of duckweed, frogbit,
watersprite, hornwart, azolla, etc to go around!
