Hi When I collected wild fish in the amazon, we just put them in tupperware containers and did water changes 1-2 times a day. No problems keeping them alive and that was for a week at least. I have also seen folks at the conventions keep them that way as well. Some bring airstones and pumps. I bring tupperware, dechlorinator, and just change water daily. Or put them in breather bags as well. Most fish shipped take more than a day or so and do okay. Glad you found a solution.
